About the Role
Senior manager responsible for leadership, direction, and resources to effectively manage physical plant functions, construction, daily operations, and special projects in support of CityWalk, CityWalk O&O, and Parking Operations.
What You'll Do
- Manage and standardize the Maintenance department Hilltop-wide, allocating labor and non-labor resources for maximum efficiency
- Oversee day-to-day maintenance of physical plant assets, equipment, utilities, grounds, and emergency systems testing
- Manage union hourly technicians and the Management team of the CityWalk Technical Services Department
- Provide strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring; monitor performance and results
- Oversee the Maximo Work Order Process — ensuring work orders are assigned, completed, and closed out
- Ensure all Preventive Maintenance and Compliance items are scheduled, completed, and documented
- Partner with HR and Labor Relations to uphold collective bargaining agreements and maintain positive union relationships
- Develop and execute the Annual Operating and Capital Plans for the department
- Assist with pre-qualification and evaluation of potential construction and service vendors
- Review design documents for construction; prepare documentation for site access and contractor logistics
- Manage punch list and close-out process; review all final submittals from contractors
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of demonstrated experience in facilities/plant management and construction/project management
- Associate degree (AA) or equivalent in Engineering, Facilities Management, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Ability to work mornings and/or evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime when necessary
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of Facility Life/Safety Systems (fire alarms, fire sprinkler systems)
- Knowledge of facilities equipment: Electrical, HVAC, Water Treatment, Plumbing, Painting, Landscape, Maintenance, General Construction, Paving/Roadways, A/V systems, Commercial Kitchen Equipment
- Strong P&L experience and command of budgeting and cost controls
- Passion for delivering the highest quality guest service
- Strong organizational, planning, delegation, mentoring, and coaching skills
- Previous experience with turnkey projects
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
- Experience in a union work environment preferred
Pay & Benefits
$120,000–$160,000/year (Bonus Eligible)
