About the Role
The Sr. Manager, Finance leads worldwide film ultimate forecasting, performance analysis, and executive communications for the Universal Film Ultimates FP&A team. This role oversees day-to-day team operations, drives recurring forecasting/reporting processes, and partners closely with finance teams across the Film Group.
What You'll Do
- Lead pre- and post-release analysis of films for senior leadership
- Prepare 'what-if' scenario analysis to support strategic film decisions
- Manage slate reporting for Universal and Focus Features films
- Lead coordination across 11 film business unit finance teams for timely forecasts
- Manage and enhance complex financial models
- Identify and implement process improvements and AI-driven efficiency solutions
- Coach, develop, and provide performance feedback to team members
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 4+ years finance experience (6+ preferred)
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Prior film or entertainment industry experience preferred
Pay & Benefits
Hybrid — min. 4 days/week in office. Salary: $110,000–$135,000 (bonus eligible). Medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement.
