Sr. Maintenance Technician

About the Role

Monitors utility equipment and systems for continuous operation at a biopharmaceutical manufacturing site, using automation controls, alarm systems, rounds/readings, and local controls.

What You'll Do

• Operate the Building Management System (BMS) to control steam, water purification, refrigeration, wastewater, and compressed air/gas systems
• Troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical failures across boilers, chillers, cooling towers, and RO/WFI systems
• Interface with Manufacturing and Engineering teams to ensure equipment availability
• Perform inspections, document issues, and initiate parts/materials purchases
• Read mechanical blueprints and electrical schematics; mentor junior technicians

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED or trade/technical/vocational school
• 7+ years of related experience in a commercial property setting
• Applicable trade license (Journeyman/Master Electrician, boiler/steam operator, etc.), valid driver's license
• Experience with HVAC, boilers, pumps, refrigerant systems, and compressors

Schedule

Full-time; may include on-call duties and extended hours during emergencies.

Pay

$31.38–$36.92/hour.
