Janitorial Account Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for an Account Manager who will have ownership and accountability to directly manage airport janitorial cleaning services, directing janitorial staff to ensure clean, orderly, and attractive conditions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Overall supervision of personnel including staffing, employee relations, evaluations, recruitment, training, payroll, and related matters
• Makes decisions regarding hiring, discipline, and termination, subject to review of the site manager and HR
• Directs the daily activities of all janitorial/housekeeping employees
• Promotes quality initiatives through inspections, feedback, and issue resolution
• Financial oversight managing the annual budget and facility budgeting process
• Ensures work is timely, cost-effective, and code-compliant
• Establishes and implements schedules and procedures for the janitorial program
• Ensures facilities are safe and compliant with federal, state, and local laws
• Ensures environmental procedures are implemented per the customer's environmental specialist
• Inventories supplies and equipment; investigates new cleaning instruments and methods
• Handles special projects and other duties as needed
• Organizes and develops short- and long-term goals

Qualifications

• At least three years of cleaning contract management experience within the last five years in an airport environment (preferred)
• Experience managing 10–15 janitorial employees
• Ability to work well in a high-visibility environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency with MS Office
• Scheduling flexibility
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; capable of bending, stooping, stretching, pushing, and carrying

Pay & Benefits

• Compensation: $102,000–$120,000/year
