Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Woodland Hills, CA is seeking a Software IPT Lead/Control Account Manager (CAM) for the Advanced Navigation business area. This role leads planning, budgeting, executing, and progress reporting for a team of software, systems, and test engineers developing M-code capable embedded GPS/INS software. Full-time on-site.
What You'll Get To Do
- Serve as cost account manager for software engineering responsibilities
- Oversee and participate in software development (requirements, design, implementation, integration, unit testing) for the EGI-M program
- Set up and conduct Scrum/Agile ceremonies (PI planning, sprint planning/reviews/retrospectives)
- Identify and mitigate execution risks; manage staffing across multiple scrum teams
- Present execution plan and progress to customer community and senior leadership
- Review software work products (requirements, design, code, test cases) for DO-178 compliance
- Coordinate among System Architect, Chief Engineer, Systems Engineering I&T Lead, and program manager
- Collect, manage, and report program metrics and Technical Performance Measures (TPMs)
Basic Qualifications
- BS + 8 years OR MS + 6 years OR PhD + 4 years in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related STEM
- Risk and Opportunity Management experience; knowledge of EVM
- Experience directing software development teams; prior DoD program leadership
- US Citizenship; ability to obtain US Government Secret clearance
- Full-time on-site in Woodland Hills, CA
Preferred Qualifications
- CAM certification/experience; experience managing Agile backlog with Jira
- DO-178C safety-critical software development experience
- Experience managing cost accounts of $10M+ annually in labor
- Active US Government Secret clearance
Salary Range: $142,200-$213,400/year
