Northrop Grumman Defense Systems Sector is seeking a Principal or Sr. Principal Property & Asset Management Analyst to join our Advanced Weapons Business Unit located in Northridge, CA. This is an onsite position and may follow a 9/80 work schedule.
The ideal candidate will oversee, manage, and analyze activities associated with asset business systems to ensure company, customer, and US Government property are managed in accordance with applicable regulations and policies. Maintains property accountability records and determines condition and arranges disposal of surplus or obsolete material or equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct internal and external property assessments and analyze results for financial and operational purposes
- Provide guidance on contracts and regulations pertaining to property life-cycle management
- Develop, recommend, and implement property management policy
- Prepare periodic and special purpose reports relative to matters such as taxes, leasing, insurance, facility usage
- Develop solutions to complex problems requiring regular use of ingenuity and innovation
- Support U.S. Government, customer, and NG internal audits
- Act as an advisor to senior management and customers
Basic Qualifications
Principal (Level 3):
- Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of relevant experience, or Master’s Degree with 3 years, or 9 years experience in lieu of degree
- Thorough knowledge of FAR/DFARS relative to property administration
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge and proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to obtain/maintain Secret U.S. Government Security Clearance
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
Sr. Principal (Level 4):
- Bachelor’s Degree with 8 years of relevant experience, or Master’s Degree with 6 years, or 12 years experience in lieu of degree
- Same clearance and travel requirements as Level 3
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of CostPoint and AssetSmart
- NPMA membership and certifications
- Active Secret U.S. Government Security Clearance
Salary Range
- Principal (Level 3): $85,000–$128,400/year
- Sr. Principal (Level 4): $106,800–$160,200/year
