Senior Financial Analyst, DET Business & Operations Planning

About the Role

The DET Business & Operations Planning team serves as a key partner to leaders across Disney Entertainment Television (DET), helping teams make informed decisions about resources, investments, and operational priorities. This Senior Financial Analyst supports labor and overhead planning for a diverse portfolio of DET departments and helps shape operational finance through dashboard development, reporting automation, and new technologies.

What You'll Do

• Partner with department leaders to develop labor and overhead expense budgets, including financial modeling and scenario planning
• Analyze financial results to identify business drivers and highlight risks and opportunities
• Prepare reporting and variance analyses for business and finance leaders
• Serve as a trusted finance partner, translating financial concepts into clear recommendations
• Develop and enhance dashboards and reporting tools using Power BI and emerging AI capabilities
• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and streamline reports

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in finance, accounting, business operations, or a related analytical field
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Experience with financial systems, data visualization/reporting tools, and emerging AI-enabled technologies
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related quantitative field

Pay & Benefits

$104,800–$128,000/year base salary, plus bonus/long-term incentive eligibility and a full benefits package.
