Publicity Coordinator

About the Role

Warner Bros. Discovery is seeking a Publicity Coordinator to provide administrative and clerical support to executives in Global Publicity. This is a hybrid, union-represented (OPEIU 174) role.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain talent and filmmaker schedules
• Arrange travel and grooming/styling for film talent; negotiate rates under supervisor direction
• Coordinate communications to filmmakers and talent representatives; draft correspondence for executive review
• Handle invoicing (bills, check requests, POs) and maintain film budgets (updated weekly)
• Work special events: premieres, press junkets, screenings
• Greet clients, talent, and executives; act as talent liaison at events
• Check in press at screenings; compile attendance lists and reactions for filmmakers and talent
• Take meeting notes; assist with research for upcoming projects
• Maintain department reports, files, records, and contact sheets
• Liaise with media publicists on press coverage; distribute press requests to appropriate teams

Requirements

• Previous secretarial or administrative experience
• Previous publicity or promotions experience
• Previous entertainment/studio experience
• Typing at 45 wpm
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet; PowerPoint preferred

Pay

$25.96–$29.00/hr | Hybrid | Full-time | Union (OPEIU 174)
