Your New Role

This position is a broad commercial/IP role providing legal and business affairs advice and related support to Warner Bros. Discovery's International Content Licensing Sales and Commercial Strategy executives, as well as Finance, Marketing, and Contract Administration.

The International Content Distribution legal team is focused on licensing all of WBD's content portfolio (including HBO, HBO Max, WB, Turner, and Discovery) to broadcasters, digital home entertainment services, streaming services, and platforms in all territories outside of the United States and Canada. Content licensed includes movies, scripted and unscripted US series, local language series, and animation.

Your Role Accountabilities

• Provide legal advice and transactional support for international content licensing deals.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements with international broadcasters, streaming services, and platforms.
• Advise on IP, content licensing, and distribution matters across multiple international territories.
• Support internal stakeholders including Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Contract Administration.
• Manage deal timelines and coordinate with international business affairs teams.

Qualifications & Experience

• JD degree required; bar admission in California or New York.
• 3+ years of experience in entertainment, media, or intellectual property law.
• Experience with content licensing, distribution agreements, or commercial contracts.
• Strong negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

This role is partially in-office at WBD's Burbank, CA offices. Pay Range: $98,000–$182,000 per year.
