About the role
Investigator for Warner Bros. Discovery's Production Workplace Investigations (PWI) team within Labor Relations. Conducts objective investigations into complaints of misconduct or policy violations by production and represented facility employees. Hybrid schedule: 3 days in office, 2 days remote.
What you'll do
- Develop investigation strategies for assigned complaints
- Create tailored interview questions for complainants, respondents, and witnesses
- Coordinate with Security, Leave of Absence, and Compliance departments
- Conduct fact-finding and reach conclusions based on evidence
- Prepare comprehensive investigatory outcome reports for stakeholders
- Recommend disciplinary actions (warnings, suspensions, terminations, etc.)
- Draft disciplinary documentation and conditional employment agreements
- Handle matters involving harassment, discrimination, retaliation, workplace violence, theft, and related issues
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience (J.D. preferred)
- At least 3 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of employment law and federal/local laws governing employment
- Ability to handle multiple investigations simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication; able to work with senior executives
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and objectivity
- Production environment experience a plus (not required)
