Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Program Manager 2 in Woodland Hills, CA, supporting Advanced Navigation Solutions for the Navigation and Cockpit Systems (NACS) Business Unit. This role leads program execution for navigation/avionics programs from inception through delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as primary customer interface for assigned programs, maintaining strong customer relationships and reporting program status
- Lead cost, schedule, and technical performance across all program phases
- Develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and manage Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
- Lead cross-functional Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) including engineering, supply chain, contracts, and finance
- Manage program risk and opportunity processes, developing mitigation strategies
- Lead new business development and proposal activities
- Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence
- Present program status to senior leadership and external customers
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field + 8 years program management experience; Master's + 6 years
- Experience as a Program Manager or Deputy Program Manager on DoD programs
- EVMS experience as a Program Manager or Cost Account Manager
- Active DoD Secret Clearance required
- U.S. Citizenship required
Preferred Qualifications
- Program Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Experience with navigation systems, GPS, or inertial navigation systems
- Experience with Northrop Grumman or other major DoD primes
- Active TS/SCI clearance
Salary Range
$161,100–$241,700/year. Benefits include health insurance, life and disability insurance, savings plan, paid holidays and PTO.
