Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Principal Digital Engineer in Woodland Hills, CA. You will be responsible for design and verification of digital systems on a safety-critical development program, working on navigation, video & cockpit products.

What You'll Get to Do

• Design and verify digital systems on safety-critical development programs
• Interface with development program leads, senior scientists, engineering and manufacturing organizations throughout the program lifecycle
• Integrate appropriate requirements, processes, procedures and tools for next-generation navigation, video & cockpit products
• Work in a Model-based Engineering, DevSecOps and Agile environment

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM + 5 years experience; Master's + 3 years; PhD + 1 year
• Experience with High-Speed Digital Design and Verification
• Experience with FPGA/SOC/ASIC implementation (VHDL/Verilog, Synthesis, Timing Closure)
• Experience with design processes including requirements definition, conceptual design, detailed design, and verification
• U.S. Citizenship required
• Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance required
• Must work onsite full-time in Woodland Hills, CA

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with V&V technologies (SystemVerilog, UVM, Hardware-In-Loop)
• Knowledge of Computer Architecture (Bus standards, Interrupts, Memory)
• Experience with Model-based Engineering (MATLAB, Simulink)
• Experience with Sensors and Digital Signal Processing
• Cost Account Management (CAM) experience
• Experience with safety critical designs (DO-254)

Salary Range

$125,300–$187,900/year. Benefits include health insurance, life and disability insurance, savings plan, paid holidays and PTO.
