About the Role
The Northrop Grumman CIDO Classified Solutions team is seeking a Principal Classified Cybersecurity Analyst to support information systems lifecycle activities. The selected candidate is required to work on-site, full-time at the Woodland Hills, CA location - this is not a remote work opportunity, due to the classified nature of the work.
What You'll Do
- Conduct system audits and continuous monitoring across all security controls, configurations, and operational processes to evaluate security posture
- Assess systems and networks within the enclave and identify deviations from acceptable configurations or policy
- Perform analyses to validate security requirements and recommend additional requirements and safeguards
- Assist in implementing required government policy and recommend process tailoring
- Support Assessment and Authorization (A&A) of systems, including process support, security certification testing, documentation, investigations, and periodic audits
- Support formal Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) through pre-test preparation, test participation, and results analysis
- Document results of A&A activities and prepare the Risk Management Framework body of evidence
Requirements
- Master's degree + 3 years of experience, Bachelor's + 5 years, Associate's + 7 years, or High School diploma + 9 years in lieu of a completed degree
- Must meet U.S. Government 8140 requirements for a Principal Cybersecurity Analyst - Security+ CE (maintained as a condition of employment)
- Current U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance with a closed investigation within the last 6 years, or enrollment in the Continuous Evaluation (CE) Program
- Ability to obtain and maintain access to Special Access Programs
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field
- Experience in cybersecurity compliance (Assessment & Authorization under RMF)
- CI Polygraph
- Knowledge of security tools such as ACAS, Nessus, Splunk, Trellix, and SCAP
- Knowledge of frameworks/documentation such as NIST, JSIG, DAAG, SSPs, POA&Ms, and SCTMs
Schedule
Full-time, on-site at Woodland Hills, CA (no remote/telecommute option), on a 9/80 schedule. Travel: 10% of the time. No relocation assistance available.
Pay & Benefits
Primary Level Salary Range: $114,000.00 - $171,000.00 (base pay; final offer depends on experience, education, skills, and market conditions). Employees may also be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus. Benefits include health insurance, life and disability insurance, a savings plan, company-paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO).
