About the Role
The Glendale Community College Police Department is accepting applications for Police Cadets. This is a temporary, hourly position for currently enrolled college students. Up to 20 hours per week; schedule varies.
What You'll Do
- Give directions and assistance to the public
- Escort students, staff, and visitors
- Enforce parking regulations
- Make emergency notifications
- Assist with traffic control at special events
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Valid California driver's license
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Currently enrolled in at least 6 semester units with a 2.0+ GPA
- Must maintain enrollment and GPA to remain eligible
- Must pass background investigation and fingerprint check (DOJ/FBI)
Pay
$18/hr · Up to 20 hours/week · Temporary
