Operations Legal Specialist – Chatsworth

About the Role

Operations Legal Specialist at Premier America's Chatsworth location (19867 Prairie Street, Chatsworth, CA 91311), with overall responsibility for the review, processing, and compliance of all legal related operational functions.

What You'll Do

• Process legal requests: levies, subpoenas, garnishments, conservatorships, power of attorney documents, trusts, guardianships, decedent accounts
• Respond to escalations and review law enforcement inquiries
• Coordinate with legal counsel and maintain records with accuracy
• Handle federal/state compliance activities and manage withholding remittance
• Support system testing and recommend process improvements

Requirements

• 3-5 years similar experience
• Minimum 2 years handling legal processes and correspondence
• High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
• Thorough knowledge of Credit Union products, services, and policies
• Strong communication skills, ability to work under pressure
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and related software
• Solid math and bookkeeping abilities
• High degree of integrity and respect for confidentiality
