About the role
Prepare samples for analytical and microbiological testing of food products, ingredients, and environmentals, applying approved microbiological techniques and methodologies.
What you'll do
- Prepare samples for indicator organisms, pathogens, and chemistries
- Apply aseptic techniques in daily workload
- Maintain media and reagents for daily microbiological testing
- Perform quality control monitoring (incubator temperatures, control organisms, media controls)
- Maintain laboratory equipment, supplies, and accurate records
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Associate degree in Life Science or 2 years of laboratory experience preferred
Schedule
- Tuesday–Saturday, 4:00 PM–12:30 AM, or
- Tuesday–Saturday, 12:00 PM–8:30 PM
