Senior Analytical Chemist

About the role

The Senior Analytical Chemist performs advanced analytical testing of dietary supplement, cosmetic, personal care, and related products, generating and interpreting analytical data and serving as a technical resource within the laboratory.

What you'll do

• Perform complex analytical testing using HPLC, GC, LC/MS, GC/MS, ICP-MS, ICP-OES, UV-Vis, FTIR, titration, and other methodologies
• Prepare samples, standards, reagents, and QC materials per approved procedures
• Review and evaluate analytical data for accuracy, reliability, and compliance
• Identify out-of-specification results and assist with investigations and root cause analysis
• Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation, including IQ/OQ/PQ activities
• Participate in ISO 17025 proficiency testing and quality assurance activities
• Assist in developing, optimizing, and validating analytical methods
• Train and mentor laboratory personnel
