About the Role
The Finance Manager is a key member of the Universal Studio Group (USG) Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team, responsible for driving Free Cash Flow (FCF) financial forecasting, reporting, and analysis across the studio. Reports to the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis for USG.
Hybrid: Minimum four days per week from the office.
What You'll Do
Studio Delivery Volume Forecasting & Reporting
- Lead forecasting and reporting for the USG portfolio, including monthly presentations to Senior Finance Executives
- Maintain and track key Studio volume metrics
Financial Modeling & Forecasting
- Build and manage detailed 3rd Party & Peacock Collections in partnership with the USG OCF team
- Support long-range planning through annual operating plans, forecasts, and five-year financial models
Free Cash Flow Management
- Oversee FCF pacing process (production spending, tax credits, development, collections, audits, AR aging, Participations & Residuals)
- Manage the 13-week cash flow forecast weekly
- Communicate risks and opportunities to USG/Studios Finance leadership and corporate FP&A
Executive & Strategic Support
- Assist with executive presentations (YoY analysis, OCF to FCF conversion)
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis and insights
Close & Corporate Reporting
- Lead critical close processes with the Controllership team
- Collaborate with corporate FP&A for studio-level analytics and supplemental reporting
Requirements
- BS/BA degree with Accounting/Finance focus preferred
- 4+ years public/private accounting or FP&A experience
- High proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
- Accounting/GAAP knowledge
- Entertainment/Media/TV Production experience preferred
- SAP or Essbase knowledge preferred
Pay & Benefits
$90,000–$125,000/yr (bonus eligible). Benefits include medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and other perks.
