Manager, Consumer Credit Risk

About the Role

Premier America Credit Union seeks a Manager for Consumer Credit Risk to oversee day-to-day execution, monitoring, analysis, and recommendation support related to consumer credit risk. The position manages credit risk activities and partners across multiple departments to ensure compliant lending decisions.

What You'll Do

• Resolves escalated member issues and maintains regulatory compliance knowledge
• Identifies credit risk trends and recommends policy or process improvements
• Supervises and develops assigned team members
• Monitors portfolio performance, delinquency, and loss trends
• Conducts underwriting quality reviews and lending control activities
• Tests and validates decision-manager rules and system controls
• Maintains communication with branches, brokers, and third-party vendors

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of related experience in credit risk or lending
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• Strong knowledge of consumer credit risk management, underwriting standards, credit policy, portfolio monitoring
• Proficiency with loan origination systems, credit bureau data, and analytics tools
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Excellent communication and supervisory abilities
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Full-time, Chatsworth, CA.

• Base pay: $96,000–$120,000 annually
