Maintenance Technician — Next on Lex / Brio

About the Role

This position performs technical and mechanical work that ensures the physical aspects of the buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas of the property meet Greystar's standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and overall functionality.

Property: Next on Lex/Brio (699-unit community, Glendale CA) Schedule: Weekend availability required; Mon–Fri, Tue–Sat, Wed–Sun, or Thu–Mon; on-call required Housing Discount: 20% housing discount available

What You'll Do

• Complete work orders from resident service requests and perform preventative maintenance by diagnosing and repairing issues per safety standards and code
• Complete the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for new move-ins: pre-move-out inspections, punch lists, vendor scheduling, and final inspection
• Track and manage inventory; reorder materials and supplies as needed
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities; perform cleaning, pressure-washing, and painting
• Assist with periodic property inspections
• Comply with safety and risk-management policies; attend routine safety meetings

Requirements

• 1–2 years of maintenance experience (multifamily maintenance strongly preferred; high-rise or large-scale communities a plus)
• EPA certifications Type I & II or Universal for refrigerant recycling
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds with assistance; work indoors/outdoors in all weather conditions

Pay & Benefits

$23.00–$25.00/hr (Glendale, CA). Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life & Disability insurance, 15 days vacation + 4 personal days + 10 sick days + 11 paid holidays, 401(k) with 6% company match, paid parental leave, 6-week sabbatical after 10 years, onsite housing discount.
