Maintenance Technician – The Griffith

About the role

On-site maintenance for The Griffith, a 200+ unit apartment community managed by Greystar. Handles work orders, unit turns, grounds upkeep, and preventative maintenance. Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday, 9am–6pm (subject to change). 20% housing discount available.

What you'll do

• Complete resident work orders: diagnose and repair defects per safety standards and code
• Prepare vacant units for move-in (pre-move-out inspection, punch list, vendor coordination, all repairs)
• Track inventory, notify supervisor of reorder needs
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities (trash pickup, pressure-washing, painting)
• Document service requests accurately and promptly
• Assist with periodic property inspections; support cost-control programs
• Comply with safety and risk-management policies

Requirements

• 1–2 years of maintenance experience (100+ units preferred)
• Proficiency with HappyCo, make-readies, work orders
• EPA Type I & II or Universal certification (refrigerant recycling)
• Valid driver's license
• Able to lift 25 lbs independently, 50 lbs with assistance
• Available for on-call shifts (evenings, weekends, holidays)

Pay & benefits

• $24–$27/hr
