Lab Assistant

About the Role

Certified Group operates a network of 30+ laboratories serving the food & beverage, dietary supplements, cosmetics, OTC, and tobacco/nicotine industries, delivering scientific testing, regulatory consulting, and certification/audit services. This Lab Assistant role supports sample logging and handling.

What You'll Do

• Log customer samples into the LIMS system with accuracy; split samples between departments
• Ensure timeliness, accuracy, and reliability of work per the daily schedule
• Perform clerical review to ensure accuracy
• Ensure samples are labeled correctly and stored at appropriate temperatures
• Keep the sample receiving/splitting room clean and maintained
• Assist with media prep, glassware cleaning, and general lab housekeeping

Requirements

• High school diploma
• Knowledge of good aseptic technique
• Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 40 lbs
