Lab Assistant

About the Role

Certified Group, a network of 30+ laboratories serving food, beverage, dietary supplements, cosmetics, and other regulated industries, is seeking a Lab Assistant.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:00AM–6:30PM

What You'll Do

• Log customer samples into the LIMS system with accuracy
• Split samples between departments and ensure correct labeling and storage
• Provide proactive customer service via phone, email, and video chat
• Ensure the sample receiving/splitting room is cleaned and organized
• Assist in media preparation, glassware cleaning, and general lab housekeeping
• Assist with sample retention/retrieval, purchasing, and inventory
• Stock and order supplies (labels, boxes, etc.)
• Execute all ISO and QC requirements
• Learn new techniques and train others as appropriate

Requirements

• High school diploma
• Knowledge of good aseptic technique and basic lab procedures
• Strong organizational, time management, and arithmetic skills
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 40 lbs
• Working knowledge of ISO 17025 and OSHA guidelines preferred
• Flexible schedule availability

Pay & Benefits

$24–$25/hr · Full-time · Mon–Fri 10:00AM–6:30PM
