Warner Bros. Discovery is hiring a Director, Legal and Business Affairs for the Warner Bros. Television Animation legal team in Burbank, providing counsel on development, production, and distribution of animated TV content.
What You'll Do
- Negotiate and structure talent, rights acquisition, distribution, and co-production deals
- Draft talent, option/acquisition, studio facility, and voice actor agreements
- Handle production legal for animated TV/longform content (chain of title, tax credits, overseas agreements)
- Supervise contract administration and a contract analyst
Requirements
- 7+ years of related legal experience; 2+ years supervising legal staff
- JD and active California Bar membership required
- Knowledge of animation production and SAG/IATSE 839 agreements preferred
