About the Role

Temporary substitute Human Resources Generalist (Confidential) at Glendale Community College. As-needed schedule to cover HR operations. $36.71/hr.

What You'll Do

• Perform full-cycle recruitment and onboarding: post jobs, screen applicants, coordinate hiring committees, verify qualifications, extend offers
• Interpret and explain HR policies, procedures, and collective bargaining agreement provisions
• Review and process employment transactions in HRIS; generate reports
• Maintain confidential employee records and labor negotiation data
• Conduct intake interviews for employment-based complaints; support grievance resolution
• Advise managers and employees on HR policy and CBA requirements
• Assist in developing and revising HR procedures, forms, and systems
• Analyze reclassification and compensation equity requests
• Participate in training material development and delivery

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in HR, organizational psychology, public administration, business administration, or related field
• 3+ years of HR experience including recruitment and HRIS use

Pay
