FX Design & VFX Intern, Spring 2027

About the Internship

FX Motion Design & VFX Intern on the FX Marketing team, creating marketing spots for every FX-produced show alongside storytellers, artists, designers, editors, animators, and 3D artists.

Internship dates: January 2027 – June 2027. Full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday, 10am–7pm PT. On-site in Burbank, CA. Must provide own housing.

What You'll Do

• Design logos and styleframes; research and conceptualize marketing campaign ideas
• 2D and/or 3D animation for marketing spots
• Assist in generating multiple versioning of marketing spots
• Participate in bi-weekly seminars covering entertainment marketing concepts
• Collaborate with designers and directors to pitch creative concepts

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree (or in a Disney College Program)
• At least 18 years of age with unrestricted work authorization
• Experience with Adobe apps (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Strong design skills; conceptual problem solver
• Good communication and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Background using 3D software packages (Cinema 4D or Houdini)
• Experience with advanced compositing/editing software (Nuke or Resolve)
• Familiarity with AI tools such as Runway, Claude, and Firefly

Pay

$23.00/hour
