Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Woodland Hills, CA is seeking an Environmental Test Engineer (Level 3) to support environmental test and qualification activities for complex hardware and systems. Full-time on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Environmental Test Plans and Procedures for vibration, shock, temperature, humidity, and altitude testing
• Perform qualification and verification/validation testing at unit and subsystem levels
• Set up and operate environmental test equipment (chambers, shakers, data acquisition systems)
• Support technicians with test setup, troubleshooting, and execution
• Capture and analyze test data; assist in preparing test reports and technical summaries
• Interface with systems, design, manufacturing, and test engineering to clarify requirements and resolve issues

Basic Qualifications

• BS in STEM + 5 years OR MS + 3 years of relevant experience; OR equivalent environmental test experience
• Ability to obtain US Government security clearance
• Full-time on-site availability in Woodland Hills, CA

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with MIL-STD-810 (810G/810H) environmental testing
• Experience with Vibration Research (VR) and ObserVIEW software
• Hands-on experience with accelerometers, thermocouples, and data acquisition systems
• Familiarity with MIL-STD-202 or RTCA DO-160

Salary Range: $103,600-$155,400/year
