Northrop Grumman is seeking an Engineer Software Quality in Woodland Hills, CA.

What You'll Get to Do

• Develop, modify, apply, and maintain standards for software quality operating methods, processes, systems and procedures
• Ensure measures meet acceptable reliability standards
• Develop operating criteria to ensure implementation of the software quality program per project, process and contract requirements
• Ensure project and process control documentation comply with requirements, objectives and/or contract
• Review software design, change specifications, and plans against contractual and/or process requirements
• Review or direct verification of software requirement allocations, traceability, and testability
• Work with systems: SAP, DOORs, Jira, Confluence

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in software engineering/computer science or STEM with 2 years experience; or Master's Degree with 0 years
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
• U.S. Citizenship required
• Experience implementing Software Quality Assurance plans

Preferred Qualifications

• Agile software development process experience
• Experience collecting software data and metrics for reporting
• Experience in evaluation, tracing, and/or analysis of requirements
• Experience in process and product evaluation and quality auditing
• Experience in DO-178, DO-254, and ISO9001/AS9100 standards
• Experience in Peer Reviews and Code Reviews
• Experience reading C, C++, Java, Python, Ada
• Active Secret clearance

Salary Range

$83,400–$125,200/year. Benefits include health insurance, life and disability insurance, savings plan, paid holidays and PTO.
