Electronics Technician

About the Role

Electronics Technician (Level II or III) at Crane Aerospace & Electronics' Brake Control Unit factory in Burbank, CA. Performs calibration and functional tests on electronic subassemblies and end items in support of high-volume production test operations.

What You'll Do

• Perform calibration and functional tests on electronic subassemblies and end items
• Create non-conformance reports with testing details, failure descriptions, and initial root cause investigation
• Interpret work orders, drawings, schematics, test procedures, failure reports, and engineering specifications
• Calibrate or adjust units via component selection, potentiometer adjustment, shimming, bearing/gear adjustments
• Perform automated testing (vibe, burn in, thermal cycle, leak test) and manual testing with oscilloscopes, multi-meters, signal generators, power supplies, and specialized test equipment
• Support 5S, KPI, and Standard Work initiatives under the Crane Business System

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2–5+ years of experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with manufacturing or repair environment product flow
• Manual and finger dexterity for precision assembly
• Good oral and written English communication skills
• US person status required (ITAR-controlled access may apply)

Preferred Qualifications

• AA degree in Electronic or Mechanical Technology or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of production processes and quality control

Schedule & Pay

On-site, full-time. Overtime flexibility required. Salary range: $32–$53/hr (Level II: $32–$41/hr; Level III: $36–$53/hr — level determined by qualifications).
