Customer Service Administrator II

Customer Service Administrator II at Crane Aerospace & Electronics in Burbank, CA. On-site, full-time.

Responsible for supporting sales success by performing administrative activities for assigned customers — both pre-award and post-award activities. Acts as a customer liaison for quotes, purchase orders, order status, data entry, files, and warranty returns. Partners with a diverse array of internal departments.

Essential Functions

• Review and negotiate customer purchase orders for compliance with Crane policies and applicable export/government regulations
• Administer and manage purchase orders; flow down specifications, quality requirements, terms and conditions, and FAR/DFAR requirements
• Interpret and enter purchase order requirements into ERP system; provide order acknowledgements
• Prepare timely responses to customer requests for quotes (RFQ)
• Support accounts receivables for past-due payment issues
• Process warranty returns; ensure timely processing
• Establish and grow customer relationships via telecoms, WebEx, and face-to-face meetings
• Administer customer web-based portals for returns, debit/credit, corrective action, and data reporting
• Validate customer scorecards and contest findings not aligned with actual performance
• Ensure applicable export compliance requirements are adhered to

Minimum Qualifications

• 2–5 years of applicable Customer Service experience
• Working knowledge of customer portals, Export Administration Regulations, Incoterms, and ITAR Compliance
• Basic knowledge of FAR/DFAR and government procurement requirements
• Proficient with ERP systems; intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
• Strong communication skills (phone and email); outstanding organizational skills
• High School Diploma; US Person required (ITAR-controlled environment)

• Oracle Experience
• Aerospace Manufacturing experience
• Associate or Bachelor's Degree
