About the Role

Director, Mortgage Operations overseeing mortgage lending operations including processing, underwriting, and funding, plus pipeline and closing operations. Hybrid Remote / Chatsworth, CA (19867 Prairie Street, Chatsworth, CA 91311).

What You'll Do

• Partner with mortgage sales on workflow improvements and member experience
• Provide strategic oversight of processing, underwriting, and funding functions
• Lead operational execution across multiple teams with regulatory alignment
• Develop and implement new lending products cross-functionally
• Monitor regulatory compliance and implement procedures
• Analyze data and present reports to leadership and governmental agencies
• Manage departmental budget and third-party vendor relationships

Requirements

• 10+ years of mortgage underwriting, processing, closing, and/or funding experience
• Management experience with employee training capabilities
• Process creation and management skills
• Experience in large banking or credit union operations
• Extensive government program and underwriting guidelines knowledge
• Real estate transaction understanding
• Formal leadership training completed
• Bachelor's degree preferred in business, accounting, finance, or related field

Pay & Benefits

• Base salary $150,000-$175,000/year
