Systems Engineer II

About the role

Crane Aerospace and Electronics has an opportunity for a Systems Engineer II at its Burbank, CA location, supplying critical systems and components to the aerospace and defense markets.

The Systems Engineer II works under supervision using established procedures to research, plan, design, and develop products for the Aerospace/Electronics marketplace, working on new product designs, modernization, and upgrades.

What you'll do

• Work with all functional groups to achieve product performance and cost targets; build quality/manufacturability into the design
• Create and maintain Model Based Systems Engineering models; perform what-if and use-case simulations
• Understand, decompose, and define product/process requirements for development, sustaining, and R&D
• Plan, estimate, prioritize, and manage work to meet project schedules and budgets
• Contribute to systems engineering aspects from architecture definition through requirements validation and verification
• Generate technical reports, procedures, and documentation for customer/program requirements

Requirements

3 years of relevant work experience; BA or BS in an engineering discipline (Mechanical preferred).

Pay & benefits

$102,372/year. Full-time, on-site in Burbank.
