About the Role

Assistant Professor - Department of Management, David Nazarian College of Business and Economics. The department seeks two tenure-track faculty members in Management at the rank of Assistant Professor.

• Employment Type: Full-time, Tenure-Track
• Work Mode: On-site (in-person instruction; may include weekday, evening, weekend, and/or online teaching)
• Location: Northridge, California
• Effective Date: Fall 2027 (subject to budgetary approval)

What You'll Do

• Teach courses in organizational behavior, management, and/or human resources management
• Conduct research in related fields
• Hold weekly office hours
• Attend faculty meetings
• Participate in student learning assessment
• Provide service to the department, college, and university

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Management, Organizational Behavior, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a closely related field from an AACSB- or ABET-accredited program (terminal degree required by appointment)
• College/university-level teaching experience or clear potential for in-person instruction
• Evidence of, or clear potential for, publishing original research in peer-reviewed journals

Preferred Qualifications

• Engagement with diverse student populations using culturally responsive pedagogy
• Integration of AI and digital technologies in instruction
• Collaborative research relationships with current faculty
• Leadership potential and grant/contract funding capability

Pay & Benefits

• Salary Range: $125,000 to $141,000, dependent upon qualifications
