About the Role

The CCFA Assistant Director is responsible for strategic initiatives and program outcomes for CCFA departments, overseeing operations and partnerships across Los Angeles County and San Bernardino County. Full-time hybrid.

Essential Duties

Program Oversight & Leadership (35%)

• Directly supervise Program Managers across LA County and San Bernardino County
• Provide leadership, coaching, and support to promote high performance and professional growth
• Facilitate regular staff meetings to ensure alignment with agency goals

Departmental Operations and Compliance (35%)

• Oversee CCFA departments: Case Management, Enrollments, Provider Payments, Customer Service Center, and others
• Establish and maintain administrative policies and procedures ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
• Collaborate with the CQI team to implement policy updates

Community Partnerships (20%)

• Lead development of strategic partnerships with County departments, school districts, and community organizations
• Serve as CCRC's primary liaison to county leadership for CCFA Division

Compliance Oversight (10%)

• Maintain knowledge of applicable contract requirements, agency policy, and legislative issues

Requirements

• Option 1: Bachelor's degree + 10 years management experience in public agency, social services, or early childhood
• Option 2: Master's degree + 5 years management experience in above fields
• Both require 3 years direct supervisory experience managing large, multi-site teams
• 40% travel required
