Teacher Assistant

Child Care Resource Center (CCRC) is hiring a Teacher Assistant for its Early Care and Learning program.

Pay: $22.89/hr | Full-time

About the Role

Under general supervision of the classroom Teacher, the Teacher Assistant supports activities designed to stimulate learning, caregiver involvement, student progress, assessments, and transition into kindergarten for children birth to 5 years old.

Responsibilities: Interactions with Children and Families (80%), Staff Relationships (10%), Administrative Functions (10%)

Minimum Qualifications

• 12 semester units in Early Childhood Education, including 3 in Infant & Toddler Development
• Current Teacher Assistant Permit or above (or documented pending application)
• Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate upon hire or within 30 days

Schedule

Full time, 40 hours/week. Overtime may be expected. May include early mornings, late evenings, and weekends. Center assignments can vary depending on business needs.
