WDI Show Control Hardware Intern, Glendale, Spring 2027

About the Role

Walt Disney Imagineering's Show Control Hardware team brings the show elements of Disney's attractions to life. This internship runs approximately January 2027 – June 2027 in Glendale, CA.

What You'll Do

• Prepare basic engineering design and calculations under supervision
• Provide general engineering support to Lead Engineers

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with industrial control systems and familiarity with PLCs and control hardware design systems
• Interest in working in a "test and adjust" construction environment
• Computer literacy with MS Office products; valid driver's license required
• Currently enrolled as a Junior or higher, majoring in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, or Software Engineering, or related)
• At least 18 years old with unrestricted work authorization

Preferred

• Familiarity with MatLab and/or UML
• AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Revit experience
• Experience in a professional engineering environment

Schedule & Logistics

• Fully available for the duration of the internship
• Must provide own housing and reliable transportation

Pay & Benefits

• $31.00/hr (undergraduate) or $36.00/hr (graduate)
