Teacher Designee

About the role

CCRC (Child Care Resource Center) is hiring a Teacher Designee in Reseda to provide classroom instruction to enrolled children (birth to 5 years old), developing individual learning goals, ongoing progress assessments, and kindergarten-prep activities. The role also guides and supervises subordinate teaching staff.

What you'll do

• Provide classroom instruction and activities that stimulate learning across all areas
• Develop individual goals for infant, toddler, and pre-school aged children
• Provide ongoing assessments and facilitate kindergarten-readiness activities
• Guide and supervise subordinate teaching staff per CCRC policies
• Classroom management (80%) and administrative functions (20%)

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, with 24 semester units in ECE and 3 units in Infant/Toddler Development
• 3 years of related experience in Child Development, ECE, or a preschool setting
• Valid First Aid/CPR Certificate upon hire
• Current Child Development Site Supervisor Permit or above

Schedule

Full-time, 40 hours; may include early mornings, evenings, and weekends. ~10% travel within the San Fernando/Antelope Valley area.

Pay & benefits

$25/hr.
