Storyboard Revisionist - Disney Television Animation

About the Role

Disney Television Animation (DTVA) has over 40 years of legacy producing kids & family entertainment across 2D, CG, and stop-motion productions. This fully on-site role in Glendale, CA makes revisions to storyboards after the storyboard artist's initial pass.

What You'll Do

• Address acting, hookups, extra poses, and other revisions
• Flesh out scenes or clean up rough panels
• Ensure characters and designs are on-model and to proper proportions
• Re-board and restage scenes from scratch when necessary, from director-provided thumbnails
• Conform boards to animatic; add screen direction or other clarifying details
• Adhere to the production schedule provided by the Line Producer

Requirements

• Knowledge of Cintiq, Toon Boom Storyboard Pro, Photoshop, or other storyboarding software
• TV animation series experience a plus
• Strong comedy, action, and emotional storytelling skills
• Strong staging, composition, and cinematography skills
• Strong draftsmanship, with the ability to draw characters on-model in 3D space
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

Schedule & Pay

Fully on-site, Glendale, CA. Pay follows the applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement: $50.90–$55.31/hour, depending on experience. Applications remain valid through December 31, 2026.
