What You'll Do

• Partner with DTVA animation project teams to define Unreal Engine pipeline standards and workflows supporting creative, budget, and schedule goals
• Partner with Production, Post, and Technology teams to plan, deploy, and support UE workflows and inform pipeline tool decisions
• Perform hands-on production work across UE projects and animation disciplines
• Create and revise assets and scenes across production stages (modeling, rigging, storyboarding, previs, layout, animation, lighting, etc.)
• Support transfer between UE and traditional (Maya) pipelines
• Document and communicate pipeline workflows and technical standards
• Mentor and advise filmmakers, showrunners, and artists new to realtime production

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in animation series and/or feature production, preferably at a major studio
• Expert knowledge of Realtime (Unreal) production pipelines and processes
• Broad UE generalist skill set spanning layout, editorial, modeling, rigging, surfacing, lighting, cameras, animation integration, rendering, and asset management
