About the Role
Provides primary and preventive care by diagnosing and treating diseases, injuries, and other disorders.
What You'll Do
- Deliver medical services and quality patient care
- Stabilize and refer urgent care patients as needed
- Examine/treat patients when the assigned provider is unavailable
- Complete patient charts per medical standards
- Assist with lab specimen collection
- Complete administrative projects assigned by the Medical Director
- Maintain medical licenses, board certification, and hospital privileges
- Participate in on-call scheduling
- Supervise mid-level providers (NPs and PAs); serve as preceptor for students and residents
- Participate in quality assurance activities
Requirements
- MD or DO from accredited medical school; completed accredited residency
- Board certification or board eligible
- Unrestricted California medical license; valid DEA registration
- PALS, NRP, or ACLS may be required
Pay & Benefits
- $300,000–$330,000/year
