Dental Administrator

About the Role

Oversees and directs the comprehensive operations of the dental practice across multiple sites — personnel, finances, administrative processes, and facility upkeep — while ensuring regulatory compliance.

What You'll Do

• Provide strategic leadership across all dental clinics aligned with organizational mission
• Guide and motivate employees toward objectives in a collaborative environment
• Identify and implement operational improvements with quality and efficiency teams
• Coach clinic managers on measurable goals
• Maintain staff morale through regular communication and meetings
• Organize provider meetings with the Dental Director
• Analyze operational performance data and KPIs; manage operating budgets for all dental sites
• Develop patient experience initiatives
• Conduct performance reviews and manage disciplinary actions
• Ensure compliance through regular audits; oversee dental EHR system utilization
• Optimize staffing levels and provider schedules

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• 5–7 years in dental operations with increased responsibility
• Minimum 5 years supervising staff; minimum 3 years directly managing a dental practice/clinic
• Proficiency with Dentrix, Excel, Word, Outlook
• Understanding of managed care, reimbursement, and regulatory requirements
• Strong leadership, communication, and documentation skills

Pay & Benefits

• $95,000–$110,000/year
