About the Role
Oversees and directs the comprehensive operations of the dental practice across multiple sites — personnel, finances, administrative processes, and facility upkeep — while ensuring regulatory compliance.
What You'll Do
- Provide strategic leadership across all dental clinics aligned with organizational mission
- Guide and motivate employees toward objectives in a collaborative environment
- Identify and implement operational improvements with quality and efficiency teams
- Coach clinic managers on measurable goals
- Maintain staff morale through regular communication and meetings
- Organize provider meetings with the Dental Director
- Analyze operational performance data and KPIs; manage operating budgets for all dental sites
- Develop patient experience initiatives
- Conduct performance reviews and manage disciplinary actions
- Ensure compliance through regular audits; oversee dental EHR system utilization
- Optimize staffing levels and provider schedules
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- 5–7 years in dental operations with increased responsibility
- Minimum 5 years supervising staff; minimum 3 years directly managing a dental practice/clinic
- Proficiency with Dentrix, Excel, Word, Outlook
- Understanding of managed care, reimbursement, and regulatory requirements
- Strong leadership, communication, and documentation skills
