Certified Medical Assistant Lead

About the Role

Assists the Office Manager with back office operations, including monitoring patient flow, covering staff breaks, and ensuring efficient operations through planning and organization.

What You'll Do

• Staff training and development in medical assistant scope of practice
• Patient relations and complaint resolution
• Maintain crash carts, medications, supplies, and oxygen equipment
• Interview candidates for back office positions
• Medication and vaccine inventory management, including VFC/VFA tracking and reporting
• Manage the EHR system (Care 360)
• Track equipment calibration; maintain refrigerator/sterilization logs
• Assist with facility audit prep and daily call-back lists
• Medical supply ordering and staff scheduling coordination

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, CCMA, NCMA, RMA, or equivalent)
• 1 year experience preferred
• CPR certification
• Bilingual (English plus Spanish, Armenian, or Russian) preferred

Pay & Benefits

• $26–$28/hour, dependent on experience
