Sr. Unit Associate, Night Shift Per Diem

About the role

Greets and directs visitors, prepares and maintains medical records, and provides clerical support to the nursing team on a per diem, night-shift basis — keeping the unit running smoothly and meeting deadlines.

What you'll do

• Process orders and assist unit visitors and callers; track patient admissions/transfers
• Assist in scheduling patient procedures and assembling patient charts
• Perform ongoing data collection and audits
• Participate in regulatory/environmental compliance duties

Requirements

• High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred; Associate's/Technical Degree: Preferred
• Two years' relevant experience, one year in a hospital/medical office setting: Preferred
• Unit Secretary training course: Preferred
• BLS Health Care Provider certification: Required
