About the role
Facilitates the initial contact with the patient and is responsible for completing and verifying all registration information and collecting the patient's financial responsibility. Provides clerical support and enters status changes in the computer, working on routine assignments within established guidelines.
What you'll do
- Facilitate the patient admission process, including collection of patient information and financial data
- Perform clerical tasks such as answering phone calls and questions; maintain up-to-date patient files
- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments and confirm/give instructions
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
- Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent experience: Preferred
