About the role
Delivers coordinated nursing care in the Emergency department according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs assigned nursing staff and coordinates care across disciplines using critical thinking and independent judgment.

- Collect and analyze patient data, develop and implement a plan of care, and evaluate outcomes
- Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team in a safe, humane care environment
- Participate in discharge planning for continuity of care
- Delegate appropriately and coordinate duties of healthcare team members
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred; Acute care experience: Preferred
- RN licensure in state of practice: Required
- CPR/BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications: Required
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI/TEAM) and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS): Required
