About the Role
The Universal Entertainment HR team at NBCUniversal is looking for a collaborative, strategic, and innovative Senior HR Manager. This role provides comprehensive HR support and strategic guidance to various leaders and functions within Universal Entertainment, including Finance, Legal, Communications, Bravo, and Peacock Unscripted.
Responsibilities
- Partner with senior leadership to execute and enable business goals using deep understanding of HR practices, business operations, coaching and management, organizational design, and employee engagement
- Lead key HR initiatives including performance management, organizational planning, compensation planning, and learning and development
- Provide guidance and resolve complex employee relations issues and investigations; partner with Legal when needed
- Create a positive employee culture by respecting confidentiality, establishing trust and credibility, and balancing business needs with employee needs
- Develop and implement appropriate management plans as required
- Partner with clients and talent acquisition to identify recruitment strategies and ensure top-quality candidate selection
- Lead special projects as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience
- 7+ years relevant HR experience including recruiting, employee relations, and organizational development
Preferred
- Solid business acumen, conflict resolution, and communication skills
- Proven business partner experience; ability to work effectively with all levels of leadership
- Exceptional employee relations experience with the ability to earn trust and credibility with leaders and employees
- Project and process management skills with a demonstrated track record of delivering results
- Professional executive presence and strong presentation and written communication skills
Schedule & Pay
Hybrid — minimum four days per week in office.
Salary range: $110,000–$135,000 (bonus eligible)
