School Behavior Technician

About the Role

Cortica is seeking a School Behavior Technician (SBT) to provide 1:1 behavior support to students with autism and other neurodevelopmental differences in school settings. Glendale, CA.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, available 7:30 AM–3:45 PM. Follows the school's academic calendar (unpaid breaks during Winter Break, Spring Break, Summer).

What You'll Do

• Provide direct implementation of holistic, neurodiversity-affirming behavior analytic services to students in 1:1 and group settings
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and skill acquisition programs aligned with the student's IEP
• Support students in communication, social skills, self-regulation, and self-care
• Collect data consistently on student progress and complete timely documentation
• Participate in classroom observations, team meetings, and training sessions
• Implement proactive behavior support strategies and follow crisis protocols
• Travel between assigned school sites as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Obtain and maintain BCAT or RBT credential within 30 days (where required by district)
• Reliable transportation; ability to travel between work locations
• First aid/CPR certification; TB clearance

Pay & Benefits
