Lead School Behavior Technician

About the Role

Cortica is hiring a full-time Lead Behavior Technician (School-Based) to provide direct behavior-analytic services to students with autism and other neurodevelopmental differences in school settings, while also supervising and supporting School Behavior Technicians. Glendale, CA.

What You'll Do

• Provide direct implementation of neurodiversity-affirming behavior analytic services to students in 1:1 and group settings
• Lead by example implementing individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and skill acquisition programs aligned with IEPs
• Support and mentor school-based BTs through modeling strategies, answering questions, and troubleshooting
• Substitute in schools as needed to ensure continuity of services
• Collaborate with Behavior Analysts, educators, and school teams
• Collect and review data; support BTs in accurate data collection
• Provide administrative supervision of School Behavior Technicians: performance management, time management, scheduling, compliance
• Complete audits for administrative time, meal/rest break penalties, and unconverted sessions

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years experience leading and managing direct reports
• 1+ years providing ABA services in school or clinical settings
• Reliable transportation; ability to travel between work sites
• Obtain BCAT or RBT credential within 30 days of hire (where required)
• First aid/CPR certification; TB clearance

Pay & Benefits
