What You'll Do
- Promote independence in activities of daily living through problem-solving and adaptations
- Observe, problem-solve, and suggest positioning techniques to maximize function
- Consult with staff and share information at team meetings
- Implement individualized/small-group therapeutic programs prescribed by the occupational therapist
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents on client programs; collect data on client goals
Requirements
- Current California Occupational Therapy Assistant License
- 1 year of pediatrics or autism experience
- Comfortable with EMR systems and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations preferred
Pay & Schedule
$38.14–$47.68/hr.
