Retail Creative Intern, Spring 2027

About the Role

Disney Consumer Products (DCP) is seeking a Retail Creative Intern to support the team crafting branded retail design expressions across all franchises—Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm, Fox, and National Geographic. You'll focus on creating retail toolkits, style guide development, and spatial planning for retail spaces globally.

This is a 6-month, full-time, on-site internship in Glendale, CA from January 11 to June 4, 2027.

What You'll Do

• Support creative design and development across branded retail design experiences for all Disney franchises
• Contribute to retail toolkit and style guide development
• Assist with architectural features, branding, signage, fixtures, and visual merchandising
• Research new materials and fabrication processes
• Build POV boards including design benchmarking, materials, and sketching

Requirements

• Technical proficiency in 3D modeling/rendering (Rhino & Enscape) and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
• Proficiency in graphic design, visual identity, color, and composition within the built environment
• Knowledge of visual merchandising standard processes
• Strong communication and collaborative skills
• Current undergraduate, Junior or Senior preferred
• Pursuing a Bachelor's in Architecture, Environmental Design, Industrial Design, or related field

Pay & Benefits

$23/hr · On-site in Glendale · January–June 2027 · Full-time (40 hrs/week)
